Overview Aviram

Caring beyond birth – whole new journey of motherhood!

Care doesn’t end at birth. At Aviram, we accompany mothers with rest and healing, and guidance in the days and weeks after birth. This journey of motherhood continues beautifully after birth.

It may be physical recovery or emotional support, or just finding your new groove – we ensure that every mother feels supported and cared. We’ll be there to walk with you one step at a time, with no pressure and no rush.

Services

Aviram’s Postnatal care helps you regain your strength and balance your emotions!

Lactational Counselling

Baby feeding can involve questions, stress or discomfort, and that’s normal. At Aviram, lactation counselling provides practical, one-on-one support for latching, milk supply, and feeding positions. We listen, guide and support you in a non-judgmental way.

You are not alone and sometimes all you need is a helping hand. Every mother’s journey is unique, and that’s perfectly normal.

Physiotherapy

Pregnancy can bring aches, stiffness, or changes in how you move. At Aviram, physiotherapy is there to help with all that. Whether it’s back pain, posture, or just feeling off, we work with you gently and at your pace.

It’s about feeling more comfortable in your body as it changes and recovers.

Mental Health Counselling

Not every day feels easy during or after pregnancy. If you’re feeling low, anxious, or just not yourself, talking can help. At Aviram, counselling gives you a quiet space to share what’s on your mind.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. We’re here to listen and help you feel more like yourself again.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a light hands-on approach that aims to release tension in the body. At Aviram, we use it as an integrative technique to support mothers and babies, particularly in the postpartum period.

The touch is gentle but may release tension, promote rest, and help with discomfort. It’s quiet, slow, and simple, sometimes what the body needs. Our hands on approach supports recovery for both mother and baby.

Acupuncture

At Aviram, acupuncture provides a gentle means of helping your body prepare for birth and postpartum. Small needles are placed to help with various concerns such as nausea, back pain or anxiety.

It is painless and actually quite relaxing. Just another little way to feel a little more grounded and calm which also promotes relaxation and boosting energy, acupuncture empowers mothers to regain strength.

Ayurvedic Massages

Slower, Warmer, Deeply relaxing. Ayurvedic care during and after pregnancy can help your body cope with swelling, aches, fatigue, and a much-needed pause to just rest.

It’s more than self-care: it’s an innate, biological process, and a way to help your body recover and restore its balance. Each session is slow, intentional, and tradition-rooted.

FAQ’s

Frequently asked question

What is postnatal care and why is it important?

Postnatal care focuses on the health and well-being of both mother and baby after birth. It supports physical recovery, emotional adjustment, and newborn care during the critical first weeks.

How soon after delivery should I have a postnatal checkup?

Initial postnatal assessments are recommended within 24 hours after birth and again at 2 to 3 weeks, with a comprehensive exam around 6 to 12 weeks postpartum.

What physical changes should I expect after birth?

You may experience vaginal bleeding, uterine contractions, perineal soreness, breast changes, and fatigue. These are normal as your body heals, but your healthcare provider will monitor your recovery.

How can postnatal care help with breastfeeding?

Our team provides lactation support, guidance on proper latch and feeding positions, and advice on managing common issues like nipple soreness and milk supply.

What emotional or mental health support is available after birth?

Postnatal care includes screening for postpartum depression and anxiety, counseling services, and resources to support emotional well-being during this transitional period.
